Profit Centre Manager

The decentralized management at Guillevin means Profit Centre Managers are responsible for all activities at their branch, such as inventory control, sales, operations costs, receivables, purchasing, and administration of personnel and assets. 


Outside salesperson  

Outside Sales

The Outside Salespersons are responsible for offering service to their already established clientele while developing new customers. The Outside Salespersons must be able to use the information contained in a bid and transform such information into the satisfactory conclusion of a project. 


Inside salesperson  

Inside Sales

The main responsibilities of Inside Salespersons consist in processing customer orders and developing new business. Working out of the Profit Centre, the Inside Salespersons must constantly look at ways of improving their product knowledge by ensuring constant communications between suppliers, outside salespersons and customers. 


Counter salesperson

Our Counter Sales specialists add their product knowledge to their sales and communications skills to offer a superior customer service. In addition to selling, their responsibilities include knowing how to market and promote our products, explain their purpose and function, and offer substitute items when applicable.


Purchasing agent  


Stock and inventory management is a vital part of a Profit Centre's efficient operations. The Purchasers’ responsibilities include, amongst others, identifying popular products and determining quantities to be ordered, deciding which product should be re-ordered or which ones are less popular, and dealing with supplier returns. In order to do this, the Purchaser must master the art of negotiation. 


Quotations specialist  

Project Quotation

Working closely with the Outside salespersons, the Project Quotation Specialist provides accurate quotations to our customers and works with our suppliers on major projects. The Project Quotation Specialist must be highly organized in the follow-up, securing and executing such orders. Pro-active expediting and strong on-going quest of latest developments in products as well as their features and benefits are critical. Individuals must be motivated and at ease with our suppliers’ websites and the various tools available online.


Warehouse clerk  


The operation of a Profit Centre starts with an efficient and organized warehouse in order to provide quality customer service. Responsibilities of the Warehouse Clerks usually include receiving, preparing orders, shipping and delivering merchandise.

The Office Clerks are responsible for certain administrative tasks such as invoicing, payment of suppliers' invoices, checks and cash deposits, as well as filing documents.
